JULY 5-AUGUST 5, 2022

For 18 years, YMCA Operation Backpack has provided school supplies for children in communities across the Houston area, filling them with hope for a brighter future as they start the school year. The children in our community need us now more than ever.

Your investment provides children the opportunity to return to learning with the tools to be successful. Funds raised will be used to purchase packaged school supplies that will be distributed to children in need in communities across the Houston area.

The Y is making a difference in the lives of your community.

The YMCA is uniquely suited to meet community needs with initiatives aimed at ending isolation, inspiring youth to thrive, restoring hope and well-being for refugees and immigrants, and removing limits and reimagining opportunities for all. We are focused on the continued and ongoing effort of creating not just physical space, but developmental and emotional well-being opportunities for people who truly need it most.
